Jordan fastest in practice

Round 3 of the Victorian State Championships were held at Sandown Raceway in Melbourne on May 13 – 15. The weather did not favour us as it was quite wet and cold. Jordan was fastest in practice on Friday but on Saturday when it came time to qualify, he tried too hard and crashed in the first lap. So with no qualifying time and only a few hours to repair the damage before race one on Saturday afternoon, the team went to work repairing the car. Jordan started the first 8 lap race 16th and last, and after a great drive he was running 4th with 2 laps remaining when an electrical gremlin forced Jordan to retire. That meant for race 2 we again had to start lastand after a safety car shortened race he ended up 6th. So for the final race of the weekend jordan lined up 6th on the gridand after yet another lengthy safety car period which left only 2 racing laps Jordan finished on the podium in 3rd position.
