Jordan Lloyd makes V8SC debut at Queensland Raceway

Jordan Lloyd has recently returned home to Australia after competing in the USF2000 Series in America earlier this year where he finished 4th overall in the championship. It was an up and down year for Lloyd who says he learnt a great deal from racing overseas and feels that the experience certainly helped him evolve as a driver..

Jordan was given the opportunity to make his V8 Supercar Debut with Matt Stone Racing in one of their DVS cars at Queensland Raceway recently and made the most of the limited laps he was given. Matt Stone and the team were impressed with Jordan's quick adaptation to a sedan type race car after only ever driving open wheelers up to that point, and by the end of his run he was putting in very competitive lap times for the tyre quality that was on the car.

The test was also a good warm up for Jordan as he has a test coming up in the Kelly's Nissan Altima in mid December at Winton Raceway as part of the prize for winning the 2015 Cams Jayco Formula 4 Championship. Jordan does not have any plans in place at this stage for next year but he is working tirelessly to be on the Grid in 2017!!
